Will I own the rights to my book?

Yes, you own all rights to your manuscript and published book. You are the author of record. The ghostwriter relinquishes all ownership rights as specified in our contract. You can self-publish, pitch to traditional publishers, or license the work as you see fit.

How much does ghostwriting cost?

Our pricing depends on the type of book, length, complexity, and timeline. Standard pricing ranges from £8,000 for children's books to £18,000+ for complex business books. We offer flexible payment plans and custom packages. We always provide a detailed quote after our initial consultation.

How long does the ghostwriting process take?

Most projects take 8-10 months from initial consultation to final manuscript delivery. This includes research, outlining, writing, revisions, and professional editing. We offer expedited (4-6 months) and extended (12-18 months) options depending on your needs. The timeline is always discussed and agreed upon upfront.

Can I change my writer if I'm not happy?

Yes. If you feel the writer isn't the right fit, we can discuss your concerns and arrange a change. We want you to feel confident and excited about working with your writer. Your satisfaction is our priority.

How involved will I be in the writing process?

You'll be deeply involved. Our process includes regular check-ins, chapter reviews, feedback opportunities, and revision rounds. You'll have bi-weekly calls with your writer and direct input on all major decisions. We believe in collaboration, not isolation.

What if I need multiple revision rounds?

Our packages include up to 3 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions beyond this are available at a reasonable hourly rate. We want your manuscript to be exactly as you envision it, so we're always happy to work with you to get it right.

Payment & Logistics

What's your payment structure?

Typically, we require a deposit of 25-30% upfront to secure your writer and begin the project. The remaining balance is split into installments throughout the project timeline, with the final payment due upon completion. We also accept full payment upfront if preferred. Custom payment arrangements are available.

What if I need to cancel my project?

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel, the refund policy depends on how far along the project is. Initial deposits are generally non-refundable, but we'll work with you to find a solution. Full details are in our contract.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes! We work with clients worldwide. Time zone differences are never an issue—we schedule calls at times convenient for you. All communication can happen via email, video call, phone, or your preferred method.

Can you help with book marketing?

Confidentiality & Legal

Is my project confidential?

Absolutely. Your project is entirely confidential. We sign comprehensive NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) to protect your intellectual property. Your writer is bound by professional confidentiality, and your manuscript will never be shared without explicit permission.

What if someone recognizes my ghostwriter's style?

Our writers are trained to write in your authentic voice, not their own. While every writer has stylistic elements, we work hard to ensure the manuscript reads as if written by you. Your voice and story should be unmistakably yours. If you have concerns, we discuss this during consultation and can request specific stylistic adjustments.

Can I tell people my book was ghostwritten?
