Upon full payment and completion of services, the client retains all ownership and copyright to the manuscript. The ghostwriter relinquishes all rights to the work. The client may publish, edit, license, or otherwise exploit the work as they see fit.
Payment terms are specified in individual project contracts. Typically, a deposit is required to secure services, with remaining balance due in installments or upon completion. Late payments may result in project suspension. We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and other agreed payment methods.
COMPASS NEST LIMITED agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client projects, manuscripts, and personal information. We sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for all projects. Clients agree not to disclose the ghostwriting arrangement without prior permission, though we respect the client's right to choose whether or not to publicly acknowledge using ghostwriting services.
Cancellation policies are outlined in individual project contracts. Generally, initial deposits are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled after work has begun, clients are responsible for payment of work completed to that point.
COMPASS NEST LIMITED is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for excellence, we do not guarantee specific sales, reviews, or commercial success. Publishing outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control, including marketing effort and market conditions.
The client agrees to indemnify COMPASS NEST LIMITED from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the client's use of the manuscript or from any false or defamatory content provided by the client.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of London, England.
